How do I do this?Nutrition and health coaching is a joint effort. You are the expert of your own life. I am here to guide you toward your ideal self. I use various assessments to learn about your health status, lifestyle, resources, and vision. As we get to know one another, I can apply evidence-based nutrition and behavior change principles to make suggestions that support your goals. Everything we do, we will do together!

We start with a free consultation to discuss your current state of health and wellness and objectives for coaching. Next, I will learn about your day-to-day lifestyle and how it impacts your well-being, in terms of nutrition, exercise, sleep, and stress. Together, we will discuss my approach to coaching, your expectations, and see if we're a good fit for one another.

Once we've established a coaching relationship, we'll define your long-term wellness goals. As a stepping stone, we will focus on building habits, not just outcomes. I'll provide you with support, education, accountability, and trouble-shooting that is tailored to your unique strengths, challenges, preferences, and resources. I'll frequently monitor your progress and adjust plans as needed. Finally, I will be there every step of the way to support and guide your journey!

Health and wellness are a journey, and there should be no finish line! But you won't need nutrition coaching forever. After you master goals, we can set new ones or groom you for independence! We can ween off the coach-accountability aspect of the program. In turn, you will develop new self-monitoring measures for tracking progress. Finally, we'll put forth systems that to help you maintain your new habits beyond coaching!
